DJ Nominal is a graduate of both UMBC and North Carolina State University. He holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Computer Science and is also the Music Director for Revolt Radio. Nominal got started DJ’ing in 2006 by DJ’ing college parties and events. After graduating, Nominal spent two years in North Carolina attending graduate school. It was at this time that he had his first radio show entitled the Late Nite Mix Show on WKNC 88.1 FM. Nominal would eventually become the Urban Music Director for 88.1 and DJ at some of the hottest places on the east coast, including Love Night Club in DC and various lounges throughout Raleigh and Durham in NC. His skills have gotten him noticed by not only his peers, but other major names in the music industry. Nominal has had the privilege of performing with Wordsmith and Chubb Rock in Baltimore and also DJ’ing the Cool Kids Concert in NC. Currently you can find DJ Nominal recording mixtapes, DJ’ing parties, working as a Nu Revolution DJ, and also hosting The Unsigned Hour here on Revolt Radio.
