INTERVIEW: Cendrine Marrouat Interview with hip-hop producer Strada
Strada hails from Montréal. He has worked with artists like Gage Pierre, Chubb Rock and Salt-N’-Pepa. His recent work with Wordsmith has resulted in multiple songs being licensed for television, including CBS (“The Defenders”), ESPN (“College Football Saturday’s Plays of the Week”), PBS and ABC.
Cendrine Marrouat: Hello Strada, it is great to have you. First, tell us a little more about you.
Strada: I am a music producer from Montreal and I got my love for music from my dad who used to play blues guitar in a few local bands. I studied Economics, Marketing and also Sound Design but I realized my heart was in production right around 2005. I have been working at it ever since.
