Over the past 4 years Wordsmith has dropped a series of mixtapes like 2006′s “Statements & Stipulations,” which garnered notable mention on MTV’s Mixtape Mondays to the recent “Buzzworthy Bangers Vol. 1 EPixtape,” that gained global exposure by being prominently featured on Frostwire.com promotions. During this period Word wasn’t just setting himself up for the future, he was working with NU Revo mainstays Kontact & Black Knight. They have appeared on all 9 of Wordsmith’s prior mixtape releases and his solo debut, “Vintage Experience.” Recently, the camp invited a new member into their circle, DC’s own Whitefolkz. He made his debut on the remix to Chubb Rock & Wordsmith’s Bridging the Gap track earlier this year. Overall, all 4 MC’s carry very different styles, yet view the world the same; with open minds.
