Illest Rhyme Droppaz is a collective of 3 Spitty Crack (MC), Brucey B (Producer) and Cpt. Hyperdrive (Producer). Originating on Long Island, Spitty and Brucey now live in North Carolina, while the entire group is relocating to Atlanta in 2011. We decided to reach out to Illmind because of his stellar beats and foundation in the industry. The “True Colors” instrumental was chosen due to the room for a creative concept caused by the sample selection. Getting Skyzoo on the track was a no-brainer since he always shows his “true colors” while displaying a lyrical prowess that ranks him among the top in the game. His previous works with Illmind have shown natural chemistry, which is only further shown on their incredible collaborative effort Live From The Tapedeck(IN STORES NOW). Sky and Spitty literally paint a picture with their colorful words over the hard-hitting Illmind production. To finalize this wonderful collaborative priece, we went to our friend/guitar player, The Professional, to lay down a solo at the end, adding a rock feel to the track. The product is a well rounded track with lines that will have you hitting the rewind button constantly. I.R.D. intends to get its foot in the door and we are going to show you how we rock! This track will be featured on I.R.D.’s collaborative project
