I finally got to link up again with the crazy talented, Crazy grinding, K. Sparks.

Black Knight: Whats good Sparks, How has everything been going lately?

K. Sparks: Everything is great brother. Grinding as always. Just released The Trilogy Chapter 1: The Collabs with DJ Booth.net. Now I’m working on a lot of new projects that will be released shortly.

Black Knight: For those who have been under a rock and don’t know who K. Sparks is yet, Please give us a lil of your resume, and tell us a lil about your style of music.

K. Sparks: I’m a recording artist from Queens New York. I’m also CEO of Double Up Entertainment. To date I’ve released 10 albums, 20 mixtapes, featured on over 400 mixtapes, featured on over 1,000 websites, featured in The Source Magazine Unsigned Hype, Featured on MTV, BET, and numerous other outlets. My style of music is very eclectic. I don’t cater to one style. I like to make everything from traditional HipHop to party HipHop, Jazz HipHop, and etc.

Black Knight: You have been dropping a incredible amount of music, tell were the inspiration come from?

K. Sparks: Life is my inspiration. Everyday gives me sumthin new to write about which is reflected in my music. Also, I grew up listening to 2 Pac. His worth ethic was crazy, and growing up that influenced my work ethic as well.

Black Knight: You have been featured on mostly all of the biggest Hip-Hop websites around and have been seeing alot of success, What is the next steps in K.Sparks Career to get you to the next level?

K. Sparks: Next step for myself is to go mainstream. I’ve accomplished everything there is to accomplish in the underground so it’s time for me to graduate to the next level. Once that is accomplished I’ll release 3 major albums and then I’m done. At that point I’ll focus on writing for other artist and developing other acts.

Black Knight: In the mix of banging out a enormous amount of music, you also been commanding your own team of very talented Mc’s, Tell us a lil about your movement.

K. Sparks: My movement is Double Up Entertainment. It’s an Independent record label that has a roster of several talented artist DJ’s, and music producers, from all over the globe such as Sweden, France, Chicago, and other locations. Our artist roster consist of Dave Barz, JD, and Paul Rivers Bailey. On the producer end we have Kurser, Pajozo, and Big Drew. Our DJ squad consist of Mixtape Assassin, DJ Killa P, DJ King Flow, DJ Pimp, and DJ Ophax. Everyone has individual projects slated to drop shortly so everyone should keep an eye out for that.

Black Knight: Tell us a lil bout the 3 next projects that you are dropping soon.

K. Sparks: I have a total of 5 more projects droppin shortly. The first two are the next chapters in The Trilogy series. Kevin Nottingham will present the next one, and the final chapter will be presented by YnotMyDream, Ashley Outrageous, and ReUpSpot. The next projects I have slated after that is an EP entitled Social Studies presented by YnotMyDream. After that is a project with my brother Jef Cherry entitiled Luck of The Draw. That project is gonna be a classic. After those four I’ll drop other projects that will be produced by Kurser and my man Pajozo.

K. Sparks: Persistence wears down resistance. No matter what keep striving and never give up.
